Key template
Shows changing the font of the Key Title for a design by using the template stored in the design. Save the modified template so it is used whenever a designs existing template is removed Change the default blank design to use the new template so all new designs use it. Also covers viewing and changing the location of the templates. (A future video will cover the key tokens that control what information is added to the key)

Blend colours
Blending two or three thread colours to create a combined colour that will be represented by a single symbol. The colour number will contain the numbers of all the colours used.

Catalogue of motifs
Printing a catalogue of motif designs.
Print button on motif browser
Count of fabric
Set the stitches per inch (or per cm) of the fabric and the number of strands that will be used to stitch if no individual settings are used for each colour. Also sets the strands for machine output.

Display colours on/off
Turn on and off the display of individual colours

Expand design size
Add or remove canvas from any side of the design.

Floodfill
Floodfill an area of the design with crosses, a set sticth pattern or a motif. Specify an optional colour gradient with direction and a colour tolerance.

Hue change within an area
Change stitches of one colour hue for another within the selected area.

Change the display size for french knots

Magic border
Turns on/off the magic squares that allow easy drawing of reflected and rotated borders

Specify how large an area of petit-point sticthes has to be in order for the program to split it into a separate chart print. If split, the main chart shows a reference to each petit-point chart.

Print Preview
Create a preview of the chart print. On the Mac OS X version this is replaced with a PDF of the chart being shown in the OS X preview program from which it can be directly printed.

Reduce number of colours
Reduce the number of colours in the design by merging the least used colours with the next nearest colour.

Rotate an area of the design by any angle

Draw a shape in cross stitches using a library of included shapes.

Size calculator (for thread lengths)
Windows only versions. Calculale the thread lengths for a design. On the Mac OS X version, the thread lengths are optionally printed with the design and the settings are changed from the print dialog by a button on the Key tab.

Sort palette
Sort the colour palette by a number of parameters including colour, stitch count and thread number.

Symbol asignment
Change which symbol is used for each colour, the backstitch style and the print colours. Note the program now allows choosing symbols from 3 different fonts at once which is not shown in the video.

Text objects
Choose the options when converting typed text into stitches and specify the text.

XSPro text (for backstitch, custom fonts)
Add text in stitches using predefined fonts that have been created in the software. A variety of differnt size backstitch fonts are provided but the tool can also be used for cross stitch and pictorial fonts.
