The Plus and Publisher editions of Cross Stitch Professional include a stitch editor. This alows new stitch types to be designed by the user which will then appear on the toolbar.
The editor alows you to design the toolbar icon, the screen image and the chart image (in scaleable vector format). There is also provision for writing stitch instructions which can be stored in the stitch.
Future updates of the program will include the ability to print out a set of stitch instructions with the chart. Currently you must enter the stitch editor to print each stitch diagram/instructions.
